2008

Medical, legal and journalistic Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew translations for MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Research).

2007

Completing my screenplay "Transitioning" about the life of Charley Parkhurst, the female bodied stage coach driver of the Gold Rush.

  • A book of  my short stories in Hebrew, “Te’enim, Ahuvati” (“Figs, My Love”) with Shufra Publication House.

2000 - 2004: Translation

  • English to Hebrew translator for Israeli computer and new economics magazines such as:

    • “PC Plus”

    • “Gadgets”

    • “Business 2.0” for which I also wrote a personal column.

    •  “The Dyke and the Dybbuk”  a book by Ellen Galford, Shufra Publishing House.

  • Translating movies ("Flight of the Phoenix" and others) and TV series ("Days of Our Lives", "Family Affairs" and more) for "Ot" company.

1997- 2000 - Lecturer on Jewish and Israeli art for the Center for Jewish Art, for students, teachers and the general public.

1997 - 2000 - An English and Hebrew guide at the Bialik House, museum of the national Hebrew poet, H. N. Bialik.

1997- Writing a book about Zionism and Art for teachers and students, published by the Center for Jewish Art.

 1996- 2006 - Writer of a personal Lesbian column for “At” women’s magazine. I also wrote articles for “At” and for and other magazines such as “Signon” and “Ha’ir”, among which were interviews with Annie Sprinkle and Rosemary Woodruff-Leary, and a research article about women’s peace movements in Israel.

Since 1996 - Writing articles, reviews and columns for the Israeli GLBT magazines: “Hazman Havarod”, “Hakeshet”, “Top” and recently, “Pandora”.

1996-2000 - Editor of “Chronicle of Events” and “Publications” columns for “Jewish Art”, a professional periodical on Jewish Art.

1995 - Editor for the catalogue of the exhibition “Brushstrokes of History: Jewish Life in the Works of Sarah Shorr and Meir Axelrod”, that was held in Yad Vashem Museum, Jerusalem.

1993 - 2000 - Documentation of the works of Jewish Israeli Artists for The Center for Jewish Art at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. I received the Morris Baker Prize in 1997 for this work.

Education

2006 - 2009 - Creative Writing and screenwriting classes at Cabrillo College. 

2001 - MA in Art History, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I specialized in Feminism in art history, and Israeli and Jewish art.

1995 - B.A. in Art History and General Studies, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

1994 - Teaching license in Art History for High Schools, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Languages

  • Hebrew – mother tongue;

  • English – Excellent reading, speaking and writing skills;

  • Rumanian – Basic speaking and reading skills.
